What is Parametric Search?
Parametric search allows users to find products that meet their desired specifications without needing to know an exact part number. If you have a set of technical specs, you can use our search to find parts that match those specs. It's easy and intuitive to use.
You can select from a wide variety of product specifications to narrow down your search accordingly. Choose as many as you'd like in order to filter the results and browse from the electronic components that fit your needs.
How To Use Parametric Search
To begin using the new parametric search, follow these simple steps:
On the TrustedParts.com home page, scroll to the Product Categories section. Click on a Category icon, or select the View All Categories button.
Select a subcategory. For broader product categories, you may be prompted to make multiple subcategory selections.
Once you reach the part category page, scroll to the Products section and filter your results using the specification filters. The specification filters selections vary per category according to applicable product specifications.
As you make selections, the results table will automatically update with products that fit the criteria.
To remove one specification filter, press the "X" next to its name. To completely reset the product specifications and start over in the subcategory, press the "Clear Filters" button.
Once you find the electronic component that best fits your project, click "View Price and Availability" for the datasheet, stock information, pricing, and links to view or purchase the product.
To begin a search in a new category, scroll up, and near the top of the page, click "View All Categories."
