# Stock and Price Alerts

Stock and price alerts allow you to track inventory and price changes for components from authorized distributors. Using the Stock and Price Alerts tab of the My Account page, you can add, enable, disable, or delete alerts.

# To Add Stock and Price Alerts

# From the My Account Page

  1. Select the Stock and Price Alerts tab.
  2. Click the Add Stock and Price Alerts button.
  3. On the Add Stock and Price Alerts page, enter a part number and (optional) select a manufacturer.
  4. Click Search.
  5. After getting the search results, click the Create Stock and Price Alerts button for the desired part.
  6. On the Stock and Price Alerts pop-up, enter your alert criteria. Click here for help with the pop-up.
  7. After setting your alert criteria and saving each alert, close the pop-up.

An email message from TrustedParts.com will be sent when your selected criteria is met.

# From Search Results

  1. Sign in to your account. If you do not yet have an account, you can create one.
  2. After performing a product search, select the Results by Part tab.
  3. Click the Create Stock and Price Alerts button for the part you are interested in. (If you are not signed in, the button will indicate you need to sign in.)
  4. On the Stock and Price Alerts pop-up, select your alert criteria. Click here for help with the pop-up.
  5. After setting your alert criteria and saving each alert, close the pop-up.

An email message will be sent when your selected criteria is met.

# From a Part Detail Page

  1. Sign in to your account. If you do not yet have an account, you can create one.
  2. In the description section of the part detail page, click the Create Stock and Price Alerts button. (If you are not signed in, the button will indicate you need to sign in.)
  3. On the Stock and Price Alerts pop-up, select your alert criteria. Click here for help with the pop-up.
  4. After setting your alert criteria and saving each alert, close the pop-up.

An email message will be sent when your selected criteria is met.

# To Manage Existing Alerts

From the My Account page, select the Stock and Price Alerts tab. This tab provides various management options.

  • Enable Alerts: Check one or more alerts and then click this button to enable those alerts.
  • Disable Alerts: Check one or more alerts and then click this button to temporarily disable those alerts. You may enable them again at a later time.
  • Delete Alerts: Check one or more alerts and then click this button to permanently delete those alerts.
  • To view alerts that have been disabled, check the Show Disabled Alerts box.
  • To edit the alerts for a component, click the edit icon. This will open the Stock and Price Alerts pop-up.
  • To delete an alert, click the delete icon.

# The Stock and Price Alerts Pop-Up

On the Stock and Price Alerts pop-up, you can select alert criteria from the following options:

# Frequency of Emails

From the drop-down menu, choose how often you want to be notified by email:

  • One-Time: This alert will automatically be disabled after the first alert is sent.
  • Weekly: Each week the system will check if the alert criteria are satisfied and send an alert email if appropriate.
  • Every 30 Days: Every 30 days the system will check if the alert criteria are satisfied and send an alert email if appropriate.

# Stock Alerts

Create a stock alert if you would like to be notified when the total stock quantity is equal to or greater than a certain amount. You may add up to three stock alerts per part. To add a stock alert:

  1. Click Add Stock Alert. Enter a stock quantity. Enter zero to be notified when the part goes out of stock.
  2. Click the save icon to save your entry or click the cancel icon to cancel it.
  3. Edit a saved alert by clicking the edit icon or delete it by clicking the delete icon.

# Price Alerts

Create a price alert if you would like to be notified of a price change. You may add up to three price alerts per part. To add a price alert:

  1. Click Add Price Alert.
  2. Enter the quantity of pieces that you would like to buy. This number is used to determine the matching price break.
  3. Set the Increase or Decrease button to:
    • Up arrow to be notified of a price increase.
    • Down arrow to be notified of a price decrease.
  4. Adjust the Amount slider to the desired percentage or type the percentage in the field provided. For example, if you have selected to be notified of a price decrease and selected 10%, you will be notified when the minimum price for that part drops by 10%.
  5. Click the save icon to save your alert or click the cancel icon to cancel it.

Edit a saved alert by clicking the edit icon or delete it by clicking the delete icon.
