Distributor Analytics Reports
TrustedParts.com captures terabytes of data that anonymously track user interaction with its platform. This includes product views along with search and click activity.
While not disclosing proprietary user information, we make this activity available to participating distributors via aggregated analytics reports. These reports are automatically emailed each month. They are also available via our distributor portal.
Our reports segment information by user type, search channel, and types of links clicked. Here is a detailed explanation of the columns included in distributor analytics reports:
Website Searches
The total number of single-part searches conducted on TrustedParts.com is carefully tracked to measure user activity.
BOM Searches
Users performing multi-part searches on TrustedParts.com contribute to the total count of recorded BOM searches.
Product Category Searches
Each time a product appears in the parametric search table on TrustedParts.com’s product category pages, it counts toward the total number of product category searches.
A few popular in-stock products are displayed by default when users load these pages. Users can refine their results by searching or using parametric filters, with every displayed product increasing the recorded search total.

Customer Searches (API)
OEMs and other end customers submitting API searches contribute to this category’s total count.
Products Displayed
The number of products shown in search results or returned to API users is closely tracked to provide insights into product visibility.

View/Buy Links Clicked
Clicks on "Buy," "View," or other product result links are recorded to measure user interaction with product listings.
Datasheet Links Clicked
Whenever a user clicks a "Datasheet" link, the system logs it into the total datasheet interactions.
