My Account

The My Account page allows you to manage your profile and access a variety of resources related to your TrustedParts.com account.

Profile Tab

This tab allows you to manage your account profile.

• To edit your information, click Edit Profile. To save your changes, click Save Profile.
• To delete your profile, click Delete my account.

Saved BOMs Tab

This tab allows you to start a new BOM, access previously saved BOMs, and edit default settings for BOM distributor results.

Start a New BOM

Under My Saved BOMs, click the Start a New BOM button, then follow these instructions.

To Access a Saved BOM

BOMs are automatically saved to the list on the Saved BOMs tab. This list displays the BOM name, sharing details, total number of parts, number of selected parts, and the last modified date.

• Find a saved BOM by typing the assigned name into the Filter by BOM Name field or scroll down the list.
• Access a saved BOM by clicking the assigned name.
• Open the sharing box using the arrow icon.
• Delete a saved BOM by clicking the delete icon.

To Edit the Default BOM Distributors

Click Edit the Default BOM Distributors button to open the Add or Remove Distributors pop-up box.

• Add Available Distributors to the Selected Distributors list by clicking the Add button.
• To find an available authorized distributor, type the distributor name into the Filter Distributors field.
• Sort the order of your selected distributors by clicking and dragging them. Remove a selected distributor by clicking the Remove button.

To Share a BOM

BOMs that you own (created) can be shared with other users.

1. Press the Share BOM button (the arrow icon). This opens the Share BOM pop-up.
2. Then, follow these instructions.

BOMs shared via email are indicated by the icon after the owner's name in the Who Has Access column. The "+" dialogue indicates how many email recipients you've added to the BOM.

• Example:

BOMs shared via link are labeled with an information icon in the Who Has Access column.

To Delete a BOM

1. Select one or more BOMs from the list by checking the corresponding boxes in the Name column.
2. Press the Delete BOM button.
3. Click Yes, delete this BOM to confirm, or Close to cancel.

You can also delete BOMs individually by using the Delete button (the trash icon) in the corresponding line for each BOM.

Stock and Price Alerts Tab

This tab allows you to manage your stock and price alerts. For more information about stock and price alerts, click here.

Alert Emails Tab

This tab allows you to manage the email recipients of stock and price alerts.

• To add a new recipient, enter their email address in the Add new email address field and click Add.
• To delete a recipient from the email address list, click the delete icon.
• Each email address must be confirmed before alerts will be sent to it.
• If a recipient declines to receive alerts or unsubscribes, that will be noted in the list. Declined and unsubscribed email address will eventually be deleted automatically.
