Manufacturer Activity Logs

TrustedParts.com captures anonymous user data to provide manufacturers with clear insights into user activity. In addition to comprehensive analytics reports, ECIA member manufacturers can receive weekly search and click log files.

These search and click log files list activity per part number on TrustedParts.com. The entries are limited to single-part searches on our website; BOM tool searches and searches via the TrustedParts.com API are not included. Aggregation and analysis of this valuable data enable manufacturers to discern buyer interest and make informed business decisions.

Manufacturer activity logs are available only to ECIA members. Recipients will receive weekly Microsoft Excel files via email. To request access, send an email to: admin@trustedparts.com.

Search Log Files

The search logs indicate each instance that a part number was searched for in the past week. Click here to download a sample search log. Each file includes the following:

Date

The date column includes the date and time of a search. All times are listed in UTC. Each search log includes data from one week, indicated by the dates in the file name. For example, “search-log-20241202-20241208“ includes search data from the week of December 2, 2024, through December 8, 2024.

Part Number

The part number column records each part number a user searched on TrustedParts.com. Only complete part numbers (not partial part numbers) are recorded in this data.

Region

The region column lists the region from which the search originated. The regions on TrustedParts.com are Americas, China, Asia Pacific (APAC), Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA), and Japan.

Click Log Files

The click logs indicate each instance that a user clicked through to a distributor product page in the past week. Click here to download a sample click log. Each file includes the following:

Date

The date column includes the date and time of a click. All times are listed in UTC. Each click log includes data from one week, indicated by the dates in the file name. For example, “click-log-20241202-20241208“ includes click data from the week of December 2, 2024, through December 8, 2024.

Part Number

The part number column records each part number associated with a user’s click through to a distributor’s product page.

Distributor

The distributor column indicates which distributor the user clicked on.

Region

The region column lists the region from which the click originated. The regions on TrustedParts.com are Americas, China, Asia Pacific (APAC), Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA), and Japan.

The Trusted Source for Authorized Inventory

TrustedParts.com was created by ECIA in collaboration with participating distributors as a free service to support the authorized electronic components industry by giving users access to aggregated price and availability data for genuine parts from only authorized sources.

While other inventory aggregation sites may include data from sources that are not authorized by the manufacturer, ECIA works extensively on an ongoing basis to verify that price and availability data displayed on TrustedParts.com is only for products for which the distributors are authorized/franchised. This is why TrustedParts.com is the best source for searching the authorized channel for the electronic components you need.
Membership in ECIA is not required to participate on the site.
