We know that life is busy, and you have more important things to do than manually track inventory and price changes on electronic components. Thankfully, our Stock and Price Alerts tool lets you set up alerts that automatically track stock and price changes to the parts you need so that you can get back to spending your time where it matters the most. So instead of piling sticky notes in heaps around your desk, let TrustedParts.com go to work for you. Here’s how the tool can help:

  • Stock Alerts let you know when the stock quantity of an electronic component has met, exceeds, or falls below a specified number.

  • Price Alerts notify you of price changes to electronic components of your choosing.

Creating Stock and Price Alerts

Setting up alerts is simple and fast – let’s walk through the process:

  1. Sign in to your TrustedParts.com account, locate a part, and click the Create Stock and Price Alerts button. You’ll see this button in different areas of the site, including the Results by Distributor tab, Results by Part tab, and individual part pages.

    Create

  2. When the Stock and Price Alerts pop-up opens, input and save your notification criteria. Here, you can also manage and update existing alerts. When finished, close the pop-up.

    Pop-Up

That’s it! Now, you’ll receive a helpful email notification when your alert criteria are met. Want to send alert emails to more than one email recipient? Simply add more email addresses in the Alert Emails tab on the My Account page.

Managing Your Alerts

To locate your existing stock and price alerts, sign in to your TrustedParts.com account and navigate to the My Account page and choose the Stock and Price Alerts tab. Here you can enable, disable, delete, edit, and add new alerts as needed.

Updates to Stock and Price Alerts Features

The features we've described here include a number of refinements over our previous Stock and Price Alerts tool. If you were familiar with our previous tool, here are some notes on the refinements we've made:

Now, instead of selecting from a few different alert notification intervals, it’s been simplified so that you'll receive a one-time notification of a stock or price update to your selected electronic components. Additionally, users are no longer limited to only 3 stock or price alerts per tracked part.

We’ve also upgraded the look of the component search engine results to better reflect the parts being tracked with alerts. Now, when you set up an alert for a certain part and manufacturer, the Create Stock and Price Alerts button for that part will automatically change to a Watching button. This way, as you’re perusing through the search results, you can, at a glance, ensure that you’ve set up all the alerts you need:
