This is why the team at TrustedParts.com works hard to ensure that distributors are authorized by the original manufacturer for every part advertised on our site.
To continue our legacy, we’ve made some important updates to the TrustedParts.com company portals that give participating distributors and manufacturers more control, flexibility, and transparency when it comes to franchise agreements and product authorizations. For example:
Manufacturers can now manage which distributors are authorized to offer their parts, authorizing (or de-authorizing) distributors with a simple click of a mouse. Check out our Manufacturer Portal Documentation.
Distributors can now upload (or reference) authorization proof and submit it for review. Also, using the portal, distributors can map their manufacturer names to TrustedParts.com manufacturer names, ensuring that search results for their manufacturers get displayed on TrustedParts.com. TrustedParts.com administrators use advanced tools and reporting to verify, set, and audit authorizations, all with the ultimate goal of giving our users the trusted source for searching the authorized channel for the electronic components they need.
